The softball team this year was were successful. They made it through Regional play with great ease. At the beginning of the season they lost their first four games, then came back to win six straight games. They finished regular season play with a 12-9 record. The track team once again did very well. Matt Hadden, Brent McDaniel, and Chris Lucas all peaked at the right time with personal bests at Sectional. For the girls, Traci Codner and Colleen Quinn were very successful. Three relay teams and Traci Codner in the the high jump all qualified for state. The 800 mm relay team was ranked 10th in the state going in. School records were broken in 6 events. The entire girls team returns next year. W. Ron Wort hurls the discus.
