Locker room antics! What an entrance! The BCHS Hornettes made history by winning the Beardstown Regional with a 53-51 win over the Beardstown Tigers. They then went on to win the Mason City Sectional with a 43-39 win over Ursuline. These wins sent the Hornettes to the IHSA Class “A” Sweet 16 Super Sectionals. Brown County played Greenville on Feb. 23, 1987. As the final buzzer of the game sounded, the score read 35-51. Even though the score was in Greenville’s favor, the Hornettes were still winners to Brown County. Each win was a big step towards the ultimate dream of playing at the Assembly Hall someday. Look of a winner. She's sure! Piece of cake! CELEBRATE! 19
