2 3 People . . . busy people with varied interests and abilities . . . people roaming the halls . . . waving and talking to friends . . . infectiously laughing . . . nervously anticipating the results of tests . . . deliriously happy with success . . . silently sad in defeat . . . All of these things are a part of our year . . . a very special year. These are the students. This is BCHS 1967. Editor—Ann Markert, Typist--Karen Pam. Brown County High School is youth striving to learn, to succeed, to grow. The brick building encompasses student life and BCHS is an initiation to life. A student concentrates. He masters a geometric problem. He makes hydrogen. He analyzes a profound novel. He perceives the overwhelming ambition of Macbeth. Thus a student learns. An athlete runs to the finish. He reaches his goal and is successful. Within the fans' bus, cheers fill the air. Green and white streamers hang from the goalposts. Endless hours are spent in the gym practicing basketball and decorating for parties. Along with these successes, the team looses, a student fails, and a candidate for election is defeated. These dramas enrich life at BCHS. Here one takes a step and stumbles, progresses and falters; but here one grows, learns, and triumphs. We, the Rambler staff, hope the pages of life are reflected to you in Brown County High School's 1967 edition of the RAMBLER. 10 STINGER Left to Right: Gayle Bradbury, Ruth Nelson, Judy Anderson, Pam Keylor, Peggy Tracy, Carol Briggs, Pat Armstrong, Ginny Roe, Cheryl Duvendack, Mrs. Tomlinson, Linda Cooley.
