Art work is planned by the art editors. The production staff are members of the Office Practice class. They type each article in rough draft, plan the arrangement, type the stencils, and mimeograph the completed stencils. All of this work is supervised by the Editor and Assistant Editor and the two sponsors. When the mimeographing is completed, the paper is ready to be stapled and distributed. 46 SEATED: Virginia Lidgard, Judy Grady, Bonnie Pool, STANDING: Jerry Mitchell, Roger Bullard, Marcia Willey, Janean Merritt, Trudy Thoroman, Dave Moore. STANDING: John McCoy, Dave Peacock, Robert Seckman. SEATED: Kay Cleaves, Laura Patterson, Sharon Moody. The Rambler Staff consisted of three sophomores, six juniors, and nine seniors who with the sponsors, Mrs. Hofsess and Mrs. Myers, assembled the yearbook. Each member was assigned a job such as taking pictures, drawing cartoons, writing editorials, or arranging the pages. The editor organized the yearbook, made assignments, and kept the work going. The staff decided to whom the Rambler would be dedicated. This is kept secret until the Rambler is distributed. In the fall, the members sell ads to the merchants. It is through them that the yearbook is made possible. The business editor managed a fund raising campaign that supplemented the subscription cost of the book. The Junior and Sophomore class members are apprenticed and much valuable experience is gained by underclass staff members. Rambler Staff Martha Jones, Richard Gordley, Margaret Busby. Angela Warren, Mr. Puckett’s niece, and her fiance Bill Jackson are trying to get her uncle's money. Mr. Puckett has trouble with his old maid sister who is always grouching at him.
