A giddy youth persuades a millionaire uncle in Australia to make him an allowance for the support of a purely imaginary wife and fictitious mother-in-law. When the unknown uncle suddenly pays nephew an unexpected visit to meet the mother-in-law and wife, everything happens. Andrew finding himself in a fix, induces Willie and Harold to masquerade as wife and mother-in-law. Results are devastating. Andrew's sweetheart is heartbroken; it ends amidst gales of laughter.
