We have -experienced many firsts as together we have watched, and participated in, the growth of the Junior College of Broward County. Many things you have planned and executed will become traditional for students in future years. Your contribution to the shaping ofthe College has not been small. l hope that you as individuals have grown as the College has--increasing your knowledge, advancing your skills and, most of all, acquiring greater self-understanding. Our experiences of this year, l960-l96l, will long be remem- bered--partly because one's undergraduate years are naturally important, but also because of this new endeavor for all of us. This yearbook is designed to provide an orderly record of our first year, and l trust it will have increasing value For you in future years. Sincerely yours, 1' if ,f'f ffX, 1 iswgef' ?Qf,f.M.ac-4 Joe B. Rushing J BR! fpt I

It is the duty of the Committee to recom- mend to the County Board a person for the office of President of the College, and afterwards to work with the appointed president in almost all aspects of campus life.
