Later in 1933, it was recognized as an incorpo rated chapter of the Future Farmers of America. From the very beginning the boys who were enrolled in these courses felt a spirit of comradeship due to their background of country life and their desires with regard to farming as a vocation. The organization is a non-profit, non-political farm youth group of voluntary membership designed to take its place along with other agencies striving for the development of leadership, the building of a more permanent agriculture, and the improvement of country life. 50
