With the theme firmly in mind and loaded with ambition, we of the annual staff started work very industriouslyg but all was not peaches and cream. The collection of advertisement was a pain. We just cou1dn't seem to convince those store managers we really had a good thing for them. But after much jawing and walking we finally turned in a nice collection of advertising. Work was then started on the layout. Pictureswere taken, higher mathematics were used to figure proportion, copy was arranged, and deadlines were arriving. Pictures were late returning, proportions were figured wrong, copy was insufficient, and dead- lines were not met. Ohl Woe is us, we felt. Then, with a sigh of relief, after much worry, anxiety, arguing, nervous break- downs, name -calling, and the saying of many things which should have remained un- spoken, the final copy shipment was mailed. It was hard, it was rough, but it was loads of fun. 8
