In 1952 Brophy was given new life Our Xavler I'G11g1Of1 teachers ID action! Father Schallert, Father Savage, and Father Harrington. From 1952 to 1956, Brophy and Xavier shared the same school building and Faculty. These pictures from the 1954 Xavier Yearbook show that Rev. Francis Harrington, S.J., the President of Brophy from 1952 to1962, was also a Xavier teacher. The Brophy classes were held down- stairs in Regis Hall, and the Xavier classes were held upstairs. This was a good arrangement For all with the possible exception of Fr. Harrington. Due to the lack of other quarters, he was forced to sleep in the Ladies Powder Room for three months. He was therefore restricted from his own room from 6:30 in the morning until late at night.
