DEDICATION CUMDE EE COoUAUNGEY One needs no other monument, when he has loved the labor of his work while watching fifteen college graduating classes leave the campus better adjusted and ready to begin making their own contributions to the society in which they live. If many carry with them something of his affection, that is an additional bonus. This is the philosophy of Professor Clyde E. Chauncey, to whom this 1963 Citadel is dedicated. He has served Broome Tech in many ways ever since the college was begun in 1947. In addition to teaching in the Medical Office Assistant Department, he has been dean of men, acting registrar, coordinator of student activities, ad- visor to the Student Council and assistant to the dean in charge of making teaching schedules. He has also been chair- man of the graduation committee for fifteen years. Prior to joining the college, Mr. Chauncey taught high school students in the disciplines known as biological science, physics and mathematics. He served as high school principal in three western New York villages, Hemlock, Belmont and Penn Yan. Professor Clyde E.
