C. C. Tyrrell President This year with the graduation of its first class in the curriculum in Engineering Physics, Broome Tech takes one more step toward serving all of the people of the community. As the pressure of increasing num- bers of young people desiring a college education grows, it is important that the College provide a program to meet a wide variety of interests and needs. This it plans to do. Its ability to meet these needs adequately depends upon its being provided with the buildings, equipment, and staff necessary to do the job. By increasing the scope of its program while striv- ing for and insisting upon excellence in its quality, the College will fulfill its obligation to the people it serves as a true Community College. This first class in Engineering Physics is an outstanding example of this growth of the program and of numbers. Miss Dorothy Turner Secretary to the President
