In recent years, Brome Tech has become synonomous with progress. A new cam- pus, better facilities and an enlarged faculty are but a few examples of this prog- ress. This year, in recognition of the latest significant aspect of our progress, we dedicate the 1960 yearbook to the first graduates of the Engineering Physics curri- culum. Being a pilot group, they have been the object of much experimentation, specula- tion and perhaps disappointment; the same is true of almost any new idea. But we believe that the first trial has proved fruitful both to students and instructors. The experience gained through this venture will enable the Engineering Physics depart- ment to gear future academic programs more closely to student needs and thereby to ease their transition from a two-year to a four-year college. Congratulations, then to these select seniors. We hope their stay at Broome Tech has been happy and profitable and that it will benefit them as they strive toward success in other schools, industry, and the world at large.
