DEUICA TION LLOYD HARTMAN A friendly nature and ready wit, an understanding of the difficulties we students had to overcome when trying to express our feelings in the form of themes or speeches, and a never-ending air of dignity belong to our English instructor, Mr. Hartman. Because we, the Class of 1951, came to know Mr. Hartman through his hard work on Tech Talk and his past assistance with the Citadel, we unanimously agreed that he truly deserved the respect and affection which we felt for him. The best way of expressing our feelings seemed to be through dedicating to him the task that has meant so much tous this last year at State Tech, our Citadel.
