l-leyl We've got an . assembly today. l-low e I e r G m many times have we heard that expression? These assemblies are examples of the freedoms which we students are allowed. We had a Hallo- ween carnival, with the profits going to the Basketball Cheer- leaders. The students were challenged by the ring toss and a pie throw. ln the fall the Navy rock band came and played for us. During this assembly, some of our more spirited stu- dents provided addi- tional entertainment by dancing. All totaled, these assemblies were very enjoyable and allowed a welcome relief from the everyday schoolday routine. Supervising the student body can be a hard job, but Mr. Martin, Mr. Whorley and Mr. Vasvary does find a little time out to relax lOlWhat's Happening
