FOLLOW THE GLE The Hi-Y is oneoftheschool's smallest organizations, and yet it is one of the most worth while, Purpose- To create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and commtmity, high standards of Christian character. One of the most impressive events of the year was the joint formal initiation of the Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y. Officers of Hi-Y are: Bob Cly, President, Ron Hofer, Vice-Pres- identg Calvin Finch, Treasurer: Bill Runyon, Secretary: Charles I-limes, i Sergeant-ab Armsg Larry Sheets, Chaplain. The Tri-Hi-Y Club is one of the oldest organizations in Brookville High School. It is a part of one of the outstanding youth organizations in America, The local Tri-I-Ii-Y Club is a part of the state, national and international YMCA Movement. It is now a world-wide organization with clubs organized in cities and towns all over the world, Purpose- To create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character. Motto-Pure thoughts, Pure words, Pure actions, Membership this year- 121 girls fromthe sophomore, junior, and senior classes. Tri-Hi-Y members can look back on a year filled with many activities, hard work well done, and managing concessions for football games on rainy nights. They have many memories to treasure, the beautiful Induction Service, the Christmas activities, the Spring Conference. and the wonderful fellowship of the club members. They can remember good times as they Followed The Gleam through this eventful year.
