ART STUDENTS SHOW MANY SKILLS High school art is open to anyone who has done well in Junior High art and anyone who is interested in arts and crafts, Art is a requirement for all Junior High students, We try to give students an opportunity to become acquainted with many phases of art, For example: designing, uses of color, paint- ing, advertising, sketching, ceramics, de- coration, enameling, cartooning and carving, art appreciation, and the use of many mate' rials and media used in art work. The art room display window is decorated by the art class each month. TOP PICTURE: The Junior High class drew pictures of cartoons from the comics. MIDDLE PICTURE: This is one of the many displays that appear in the art case during the year in keeping with special events. BOTTOM PICTURE: During the Christmas holiday, the art classes made candles and painted plates and vases. The art department also helps with stage decorations for class plays and school pro- grams. 1454 l P fi? 0 ty? :EEG 'ka ,Lil
