For us, the care- free good ole days are gone. Come walk with us back over our four years to the events which are now only memories. Our freshman year was led by Ron Hofer, President, Ron Jones, Vice-Presidentg Yvonne Lea, Secretary, and Marty Burkhart, Treasurer. We shall never forget our money- making project, the paper drive. Clt took three baths to remove all the dirt., On a very chilly day, wewent to Coney Island for our class party. The trip put aches into our feet and took money from our pockets. Our three sponsors were: Mrs. Hine- sley, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Downey. In our sophomore year, Mr. Downey left us and was replaced by Mr. Ernst, who, along with Mrs. Hinesley and Mr. Davis, led us through the rest of our high school life. We were the first class in BHS to order class sweaters. We sponsored a Chili Supper that year, Cwater glasses and alll. Again our class went to Coney Island where we had a hot time. Ron Hofer was elected President for the yearg Ed Hollenbach, Vice-President, Janet Evans, Secretary: and Marty Burkhart, Treasurer. As juniors, our goal as upper classmen was finally realized. The long-awaited class rings came just in time for Christmas. To keep the Double-Date rings or go steady was a problem that confronted the juniors boys. Our successful Chicken Supper was followed by our class play, titled Stars in Their Eyes, f and tears tool. Officers were Ron Hofer, President, Calvin Finch, Vice-President, Rita Esarey, Secretaryg and Loris Conner, Treasurer. At long last, we were seniors, the big wheels of BHS, but is wan't all fung for the year held much work yet to be done. Bill Rtmyon led us through our senior year. assisted by Calvin Finch, Vice-Presidentg Marty Burkhart, Secretaryg and Glenna Venter, Treasurer. Our play Lucky Penny, presented at the beginning of the year, wasconsidered one of the best in BHS history. The se.n.ior Chicken Supper added S558 to the balance of our class treasury. This year was also the most expensive, we ordered name cards, senior pictures, caps and gowns, and invitations. Baccalaureate, Commencement, and the Washington trip complete our high school career, after which we will not have forgotten our school but will be- come alumni of BHS. I J i T 1
