S agas BROOKVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL We are indeed proud of Brookville Elementary. Since 1976, we have witnessed a tremendous growth in enrollment and much progress in all academic areas. Accommodating over 400 students, we provide K-6, Special Education services, supplementary instruction in Title I math and reading, a music program, and many other additional features. PRINCIPAL Mr. Richard Lazenby, Principal, has been at Brookville Elementary since 1978. He has proven to be an instrumental person in the 2 growth and continuous improvement of our school. The School Board consists of five citizens, elected bv popular vote, to serve staggered, six year terms as the decision and policv-making hodv. The Board operates under the committee svstem to approve educational programs, new construction projects, and emplov the necessary personnel to effectively operate the school system. Mrs. Betsy Faucette is chairman of the Administration Committee and Mr. Chester Cowan, Jr. is co-chairman. Mr. Jack E. Brvmer, Sr. is chairman of the Support Operations Co mittee and Mr. Bill Mewbourne is co-chairman. The president of the School Board, Mrs. Robert W, Gwin, serves as ex-officio member of each committee. Dr. William F.
