Brookside opened its 5556 basketball campaign with four returning lettermen. Big things were expected of the team but they dropped their opening game and hopes fell a little. From that time on the Cards lost only two games until tournament time. They ended the league with a 7f1 record to share the championship with .Firelands The Cards won their first tournament game but bowed out in the semi' finals. They ended the season a 13-4 record. The following boys, Jim Blazina, jerry Hicks, Steve Bodnar, Don Minnick, Art DeChant and Jim Banjoff are graduating but the returning boys should provide tough competition in the league next year.
