Class History We started our high school life in 1952, very excited in being Freshmen. We had bake sales, sold school emblems, and held a dance after one of the basketball games. Our class officers were: Steve Bodnar, Presidentg Sonny Day, VicefPresidentg Marge Chozinski, Secretary, Judy White, Treasurer. In our Sophomore year the officers were: President, Pat Fuhrmang Vice-President, Marge Chozinskig Secretary, Al Paracsig Treasurer, Steve Bodnar. We had bake sales, and a spring dance in April. Though we tried hard, we didn't accumulate a lot of money. So in our junior year we buckled down to work. We sold peanut brittle and peppermints, had bake sales and sold refreshments at the football and basketball games. In addition, we held a dance in Decemf ber and put on a play, Imagination Our JuniorfSenior Prom was held at the Hotel Antlers in the Peacock Room. The theme was Moonlight and Roses. Our officers were: Al Paracsi, Presidentg Steve Bodnar, VicefPresidentg Bonnie Solomon, Secretary, Don Min' nick, Treasurer. In the first part of the year Steve Bodnar, Mary Ann Toth, Ray Minsterman, Al Paracsi, and Judy White were inducted into the National Honor Society. At the beginning of our Senior year we had 51,000 in our treasury, which proved that we could really work. We held a dance in October, which we called Autumn Leaves. Also in October we selected our class rings. We did a great deal of work on the annual and rehearsed for three one-act plays which were to be given in December. We are anticipating a pleasant time at the j'uniorfSenior Prom. Our class officers this year were: President, Steve Bodnarg VicefPresident, Donald Minnickg Secretary, Bonnie Solomon, Treasurer, Mary Ann Toth, Though we are looking forward to graduation in May, we will miss the good times and leave with pleasant memories of our high school years. Class Prophecy As soon as graduation exercises were over I ran to the back of the auditorium to find my parents. As soon as I found them, my Dad said, Conf gratulations, Carol, and handed me an envelope. I opened it as fast as I could, and found a check for One Million Dollars payable to Carol Oniga. At first I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that huge sum of money. After a few years of wondering what I would do with all of that money I decided to take a tour of the European countries. The first thing I did was rush down to the airport to get my ticket. After purchasing my ticket I went home to pack my luggage for my flight was leaving at ninefthirty, and it didn't give me much time to get ready. It took only a few moments to arrange for my luggage to be picked up. In a few hours I found myself standing in the lobby of the airport. As I started up the steps of the plane I noticed a lovely young lady, who was the stewardess collecting tickets, and much to my surprise it was Barbara Wilson. I was discussing old times with her and she mentioned that Jim Blazina and Art DeChant were piloting the plane. During the flight, I heard this woman laughing and giggling so I turned around to see her. She had diamonds from head to foot and furs everywhere you looked. As I looked at her, I saw that it was Charlene Nemeth, I found out that she was going home to Switzerland to see her fifth multifmillionaire husband, john Hambly. After a few hours in the air we developed motor trouble and were forced to land in Germany for repairs. After a light lunch I went looking for relaxaf tion in the Golden Cup Theater. The first act was an impressionist doing various imitations of well known Chinese actors, to my amazement it was Darryl Nore. After the show was over, I went back to the hotel and went into the lounge and there was a very nice band. As I started to walk closer to the stage I saw it was my old friend from high school, Deanna Minnich. After' wards she came to my table and told me that she was working here part time, because she was going to appear the next week in the Metropolitan Opera. While we were listening to the band leader, I thought that he reminded me of someone in high school, but I couldn't think of his name. Then I remembered, the sign said, Danny Walker and the Suttonnairesf' I almost fainted because he was now about six feet tall. The next day I started to take in the sights of the town, I thought that I needed a new hairdo, so I went to the most famous shop in Germany, Herr Karl Kessler. I walked' into the shop and he was working on a lovely girl with long blonde hair. When she turned around I saw that it was Irene Biro. She was getting her hair bleached as usual. After I said Hi, to them, I went into the next booth to get my hair done. When I got back from the beauty shop there was an invitation from the Maharaja Steve Bodnar, inviting me out to dinner with his six wives. Then I saw that his wives were Shirley Cromwell, Pat Nestick, who were the head of the dancers, Sandra Drompp and Avonelle Smith, who were the Maharaja's favorite dancers. Audrey White was the head of the harem. While we chatted over the dinner table, he told me that this dinner was to celebrate his new wife, Pat Fuhrman. I fContinued on Page 171 I Fourteen
