During the year, the club has had many happy hours together, embroidering, crof cheting, knitting, and making pot holders, besides many parties, Weiner roasts and going to see the things which are of interest to us all, such as style shows, All the members were present at the Home Economics Conference held at Co' lumbia in October. We have planned and done these things under the guidance and supervision of Miss Squire, whom we now wish to thank. Secretary The Safety Cluh was organi:.ed in place of the Outdoor Clulw ot' last year. The Cluh was organized to till a need for training in safety. During our meetings we have discussed all methods of safety in the home and outdoors. We also learned how to apply first aid in cases of accidents, How to avoid accidents was another topic thoroughly discussed in our meetings that were held each Friday afternoon. livery Friday, three or lour memhers had to give special talks, and after these, questions were answered, and thus we have continued throughout the year. The Girls' Glee Gluh of Brookside High School which consists of thirtyffour girls, meets every Wednesday in the school auditorium. Under the leadership of Miss Viva Shaw we were successful in all of our singing. Several of our girls in the Ensemble sang at Clearview, Fehruary 26, 1938, getting a rating of Very Good. March 26, 1938, another county meet was held and the entire Glce Gluh sang, getting also, a rating of 'iVery Good. We owe all of our success to Miss Viva Shaw, whom we now wish to thank for helping us. The ofiicers of the cluh are: President ..... .,., V elma Wehher Secretary ..... .....
