FACULTY Long after we leave Brookside we shall rememher our teachers and what they have done for us. We have greatly henehtted hy their centering interests and hy the patience they have had with us to help guide us through our school years. We appreciate the guiding hand they have offered us and we hope that we may live up to the ideals that they have taught us. We have heen friends of the teachers and hope that this friendship will continue throughout life. The High School Teachers are: Mr. J. A. This group is composed of four grades: first, second, third, and fourth. There are 17 boys and 10 girls in the first grade. Since the taking of this picture three boys, Richard Beachler, jack Brothers, and William Wagner moved and were transferred to other schools. Dick Birk withdrew because of illness. There have been two new pupils enter, Ruth- Lee Hinerman from Lorain, and Doris Mae Born from Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mrs. Alisebellc Gubeno is the teacher. Mrs. Helen King is the teacher of the 2nd and 3rd grades in room 8. At the time this picture was taken there were 31 children in it. Since then Richard Parry, Faye and Garnett Reed, and Floyd Beachler have withdrawn, and one new pupil, Betty Jean Pfahl, has entered from Olmsted Falls. There are 36 pupils in the third and fourth grades in room 9. Of this group, two have been transferred to Elyria Schools. They are Thomas Lempertz and Lee Rock. Mrs. Edith Mertz is the teacher. They have given the school and the pupils many line things that it would he impossihle for us to have if they had not planned so carefully.
