Urehestra We have all enjoyed our orchestra this year. The cofoperation of pupils and teachers has improved the quality. As the muffled sounds of the orchestra have penef trated study halls, the students have good naturedly stood the noise. We are thankful to have had such good instructors and we puhliely thank Mr. Oshun, Mr. Franks and Mr. Crowe. We have played at many school activities and hope to help at many more. None of our memhers are leavin I us this ear as we have no seniors in this -rrou w. . . , A . eq The majority of our players coming from Mrs. Zacharias room. We regret the loss of a good violin player, Miss Sophie Ivloldovan, who left us to go to work. We hope our organization will grow much larger than what it is at present. Cn March 4th, they presented Lillian Mortimer's Little Miss jack, a rollicking comedy of four acts. The main role, Little Miss jack, was played by June Rath. Other leading char' acters were: Paul, the young student and admirer of jack, Robert C'Dellg Mrs. Trevours, mother of jack, Ruth Smith, Maggie, the Irish girl, Iona Kriebel, Jimmie, her steady, James Smith, Dr. Carlyle, james McCettrickg Aunt Kathie, his sister, Thelma Millerg Neena, the adopted daughter, Kathryn Root, Rider, the big moneyed man, Sylvester Gallagher: the justice of Peace, Andrew Sechkarg the Policeman, Erwin Krause. The play was under the supervision of Miss Simms and was a great success. The proceeds ot the play were given to the Athletic Association. 5. Twenty
