Johnson put the ball in play. By cleyer ball handling Johnson again rompecl oy'er the Brooks goal line, making the score I9-O. After a few' attempts to ad- vance the ball, Brooks surrendered the ball to Johnson. This ended the third period. Brooks put on a good defensive show, forcing Johnson to kick, but again Johnson got a break recovering the ball on the Brooks fifteen yard hne It took olmson just two plays to push oy er a fourth touch down The point after the touchdown was good and ohnson w 18 out in front 26 0 Here the game ended and olmson went home with her first yictory of thc season Belmont marched down the field with a series of' strong line plays and piled up four Hrst downs. Our line then started to hold, and our opponents were forced to kick. Once more a fumbled punt proved costly as Belmont recovered on the 2o. The next play carried them ten yards, but four more plays gained them a scant Hrst down.
