This has been a year of vital significance. The splen- did cooperation of students, parents, and teachers has made this a most successful school term. On behalf of the faculty and student body, I commend the Safari Staff for this book which portrays school life at Brooks County High. My message to the students are the words of Ella Wheeler Wilcox: Use all your hidden forces. Do not miss the purpose of this life, and do not wait for circum- stances to mold or change your fate. In your own self lies destiny. Let this vast truth cast out all fear, all prejudice, all hesitation. Know that you are great. Hold no aim that does not chord with universal good. Once let the spiritual laws be understood, material things must answer and obey. MR. I. H. WELLS 7az'4e Staff Congratulations to the annual staff for this excellent production of the first Safari, It is my hope that this volume may bring back fond memories of this first year at Brooks County High With much interest we will follow your lives after your school days are over, and we shall rejoice when you make outstanding achievements in life. We shall always cherish your friendship and treasure the memory of the days we spent together working with you in your preparation for happy and effective living in the years to come. MR. GEORGE EANES
