Then the iniquity ot the thing dawned upon us. Repentant, we re- turned tothe old system ot waiting on line .... , , f'-Xtter a tew hours ot waiting, we attain our goal: the lunch- counter. We search tor utensils. There are none. We loolc at our tin- '5 X , gers. Personally, we have nothing against them: they're good tor most vs anything. The only trouble is they leak when you try to eat soup with ' them. ...Q We choose a well-balanced diet . . . tive calces, pie, a bag ot Q pretzels, cup-calces, and a chocolate bar. Three hundred triends come out ot nowhere and help themselves. They admit that the pretzels are l X X tasty. Then they are gone, leaving us to lap up the crumbs. Bongl -X The Bell.
