M1ss Barrett was our teacher I put on two one act plays for P.T.A. and the XlUmH1 Banquet. uThe Kids' Kolumnn, our class paper contalned all the latest news! Those who graduated from elghth grade together were' Carolyn, Mary, Doris, Reta Jo, An1ta, Janice, Colleen, Eleanor, Barbara, Don A., Don Mc., Douglas, Ronald B., Charlene Stanley, Gaylon, Laverne and Cora Raley. Dona, Richard, Maynard, Gene, Alan, and Joe Kriegel jOlH6d us as Green Freshmen. Sadness entered our class th1s year when our classmate, Anita Manatt, passed away.Mrs. Smith was sponsor. During our sophomore year on an all hlgh school scavenger hunt we showed our ab1lity to come through to the finish, by hook or by crook. We also asslsted the Juniors w1th their banquet by wa1t1ng on tables. Our sponsor was Mrs. Orsborn. Our jun1or year was a busy one. Je presented our class play, nGlory to Goldyu, under the dlrection of Miss Janice Lewls. Je spent most of our time after ChI1Stm8S work1ng on the Junior Senlor Banquet. A Southern Plantation was the theme. Mlss Collier was our able sponsor. Sen1ors at last! Mrs. Orsborn was agaln our sponsor. Thls was the bus1est of all our years Graduation and group pictures were taken, the annual kept us busy trying to flnish by the dead llne, a few seniors participated 1n the all h1gh school play, then the spring prom, our class play, sklp day, the junior senior banquet, baccalaureate and finally commencement and class day. Carolyn, Mary, Jan1ce, Eleanor, Barbara, Don McGeorge and walter have made the long Journey together from kindergarten through the1r senlor year.
