gf-L5 f0I lf In the fall of 1935, seventeen mothers brought seventeen happy children to the kindergarten room under the direction of Miss Alice Hogan Of these first seventeen, ten graduated on May 27 19448 They are Sam Belland, Bruce Mitchell James Rhinehart, Dua Roudabush, Th01I Cridsr, Grace lcklund, Doris Hawkins, Shirley Patten, Charlene Prusha and Moran Roth Those who joined us through the grades are Bob Evans, Buster Reida, Marie Force, Agnes Gallagher, Bob Cram and Raymond Channel In 191414, thirty one 'frightened freshmen' entered high school New class members were Dorothy Beam, Donald Brannlan, Raymond Cadden, Max Clayton, Joe Collum, Clarence Cornelis Margaret DeLoof, Alverda Goodrich, Evelyn Hall, Frances Leivens, Joyce Maschmann Richard McLain Darlene Paul Mary Sue Rigdon and Ralph Willett Mrs I L Montgomery was our sponsor for the year Everyone was a little worried over initiation but we all managed live through it Those were the good old days when so many names apneared on the honor roll 'studlous sophomores' the following year and it was our turn to dish it out to the freshmen Girls dressed as boys and boys dressed as girls fthat was Just the beginningl Our sponsor was Mrs S W Orsborn Before we knew it, one more year of hard studying had gone by 'Jlvey Juniors' of 19146 This was when the fun really began First came our pla 'A Date With Judy' under the direction of Misa Gladys Dunn It proved to be a big hit This was our big year ln the sports field because Brooklyn won their first sectional basketball tournament Our snonsor was Mrs Evelyn Newman We had a lot o' fun planning our banquet which me night club theme, Holiday Inn Incidentally all the cheerleaders were from our class in our Jhnlor year 'Silly Seniors' of '07 U48 Mrs Kenneth Smith was the orincioal and our class soonsor Iirst exciting event was Mr Buller of Williamsburg took our graduation pictures here at school warn it ll Many members got their second chance in the big time when they aoseared ln the class play 'Mambo-Jumbo' under the direction of Miss Mary Auwaerter It was a Banquet held on May 13 of this year At last came Baccalaureate and Com encement Class Day las our last assembly in B H S and maybe next year will find a few of us wanting to come back CW Sam Belland., will my urge to study and if ead to Jim Murphy Don Brannian will my 'thumb tacks' technique to Bill Llpolncott Dorothy Beam, will my ability to get engaged to Jane Anthony Raymond Cadden, will my horse to Ihnny Billiok.
