W The 1957 edition of the Brooklyn Hurricanes was as good as any team that 'lf has ever played for Brooklyn. The way they started out it looked as though they were going to go all the way undefeated. The Hurricanes won the first twelve games on the schedule, and all that remained were rematches with teams we had already defeated. However, Brecksville had other thoughts and they beat us in a thrilling overtime game 51-47. The only other defeat during the regular season was when Strongsville upset us to drop the team to a tie for West County Championship with Breclcsville. St. Ignatius stopped our tournament hopes after victories over Maple Hts. and Brecksville gave us the Sectional Championship Trophy. 55 ,Wil QWJM J Vmvniljpwl lf' W5 5k ,Gt . t Mziiwl at Aga Row One, Left to Right: R.
