T leadership of Great Chief Phil- lips, the beat of the tom-toms and Indian drums nr' filled the air with the spirited and traditional Q A marches of the football team. lg Through the worst weather the Great I Spirits could command, these hearty braves and .Q awww, squaws marched in perfect order across the V454 fields of our foes. Nothing could stop them, not even the icy blasts of the great North Windg from their couraneA the fighting warriors,as well as the tribe observers, gathered new strength and courage. B 'Wt a battle , on our home camping irounds, 5 and being several moons into October, one of the 2 squaws was dressed in the garb of the Spirit of 5 the Statue of Liberty while the other braves and 1' naidens played UGod Bless American and UAmerica UKVQAYAVH the Beautiful, It was a very inspiring sight ' 4-midi' to behold and made us feel that these braves and maidens of the tonwtons and Indian drums would be fqreat treasure for any tribe to behold. sed
