Elan lfutozy On the morning of September 7, 1902, a group of O6Wi1d9P6d and fright ned boys and girls were h6PGBd into the last car of the waiting train we were known as freshmen,about to begin a long Journey through high school Mr Peter son was our brave engineer to guide and steer us along the rock road ahead After the train pulled out of the station we elected our leaders who were Janet wohr, president, Jim Bivins, vice president, Pat Wraight, secretary, and Pat O'Rourke, treasurer lr Peterson, our conductor, was chosen to act as advisor ror entertainment along the way we had several side trips consisting of spe tators buses to the basketball games, a hayride, a carnival, and Phristmas party with these a tivitles we started our bank account Weary and tired we came to our first stop, vacation ALL A OARDSI was the cry as traln to begin our sophomore year kartha Rohrbach for vice president, for treasurer, to lead us through Anderson, our conductor, to act as Sno iall Dance, sold refreshments party The second phase of our journey was brought to an end we rushed to the third car of the awaiting This time we chose Ben Snider, for president Doug Holland for secretary,and Linda Denton time we chose Mr money so we had a had a Christmas at the next stop these trying times This advisor We still needed at basuetball games, and with vacatlon and rest Soon our vacatlon was over and we rushed to the second car of the await ing train to begin our gunior year Our officers for this year were Iartha Rohrba 1 p esident, Ben Snider, vice president Pat Langer, secretary and Linda Denton, treasurer The new conductor was Urs Wolf Our activities for this trip were a Homecoming Dance,selling refreshnenw at football games, Talent Scout Show, Junior play 'No More Homeworkn dancea basketball games, Christmas party, and purchasing our class rings To end our junior year we Aft6F a were in elected Forest, Our last condu for we out we hartha had a Junior Senior Panquet and Prom short rest we boarded the train again This time it was differam the first car This was our senior yearll After the train pulled our officers for the last time They were Ben Snider, pre ident, vice president, Nanci Folland, secretary, Linda Denton,treasuren tor was Irs Howe Ae had several activities which consisted in sale of refreshments at basketball games, dances after basketball games, lagazine sale, Smorgasbord Supper, and the Annual The more eventful dates of the year were Baccalaureate, Fommencenent, and of course our senior trip to Washington D C and Charlottesville, Virglnia Soon we were coming to our destination We had finished our journey through high school and were ready to start a new Journey on the road of life Class Notto Work Won't Work if You Won't Class C03-OI' Class Flower White and Gold Ygllgw R039 O Y' ' Q f -nr V I I . 0 I 0 .Z J J - . a V 0 I . o v: 0 '1 sl 1 8 V ' w XJ - ve -1 0 e ie Y . . 614.45 pzoplecy It is the year of 1997 and a cool evening in October Every where in Brooklyn is a feeling of exc1tement,for this week is nOld Home Weekn, and all the graduates of the class l956 are coming home for the special occasion The evening for the gathering and Show at the auditorium has arrived and it is filled to capacity I overheard that talent for the program is featuring some of the gratuates Although I am early for the program, I am glad for it gives me a chance to glance through the audience for some of my old classmates Seated ln the corner of the auditorium I spot Duane Honeywell, who has become famous through the proving of his theories of outer SpaC6 Seated in the midst of a group of elderly looking gentlemen I see uglas Holland, who has acquired fame 1n tracking down dishonest men dodging the income tax agents Next to the little group of Revenue men are seated several officer of the United States Armed Forces, They are Marcia LaRue, Gordon Tom pkins,Arthur Taylor, and Joe Scholfield We salute Carrying a little black bag, Dr Martha Rohrbach looking tense as if she were waitlng for a II you! enters the room hope she can stay with us for the entire evening Martha Forrest we learn has taken the Job of Dr Rohrbach's nurse A sudden quietness comes over the room as several lovely looklng ladies enter Included in the group are Jeanette Reeves, Nanci Holland,and Patricia Ward I understand they are now models for an Over near the door I see quite a large gathering of families, and among them are t e Dan Crawfords Chis wife the former Marjorie egerl The former Mar aret Gel er has married and has settled down near Clinton Doroth s iv ng near Brooklyn on a ranch that she and her hus and manage Rosemary Waidelich has married a local boy and h s two lovely children The time has arrived for the show and the curtain parts to reveal that all time favorite speaker, Martha Kell She has such conventions behind her as the election in l 6 when she ran for treasurer, only to be defeated by Janet Mohr who surprised us all with her quietness Iiss Kelly is main speaker and will introduce the entertainment for the evening First, she introduces, small, but large in personality, Rebeeca DuBois queen of the T V comediennes The program is inter r ped at tEIs time by a call from Martha Forrest saying that Dr Pohrbach has an emergency at her office Do L Q ' ' ca .
