Football Standing: Cameron Brown, Louis Kohn, Jerry Shell, Tom Wyman, Roger Howe, Bill Erb Ed Krause, Arthur Kaiser, Gordon Miller Ed Meko, Jim Peterson, Dick Schlel, Carleton Bibbins Dale Burwell Frank fans, Gordon Harris, Merle Cosgrove, Coach. Kneeling: Howard Hudson Vick wells, Charles Denton, Charles Brighton, Danny way fManagerJ, Burt 6uBois, Jim Wilson, Charles Dermyre, Jack Foster. Football The 1950 Football Season was a far cry from what you might call good. The Eagles did not turn in a single victory as they tied two and lost five of their scheduled seven games. The big problem was the lack of material as only eighteen candidates reported for practice most of the year. This left our new coach, Merle Cosgrove, on the spot in his first adventure as a coach. The Eagles' outlook for next year is a brighter one with just a little dent in the starting line-up. They will miss the services of Ed Krause, Ed Meko, Charles Brighton, and Dale Burwell. This years scores were: Brooklyn - O Springport - 20 U - 7 Vandercook - 27 H - 6 Concord - 6 H - O M. Center - 3h U - 6 Grass Lake - 6 N - O Parma - le H - O E. Jackson - Ed Krause, who is a senior this year, made the Jackson County All-Star team by his spirited play at the guard position for the Eagles. Our congratulations to you Ed.
