llI11TIEIl Ettvrarg BROTHERLY LOVE T was a warm sunny day ln July not a cloud ln the sky and Just wlnd enough for a nxce sarl up the r1ver That was what Andy dec1ded as he took the one long hop from bed to wmdow Th1s thought put a lot of exc1tement and spxrrt 1nto the blood of th1s slxteen year old boy for he and the rest of the gang had been waltlng for Just th1s opportunlty Ill do the chores qurckly and then U0 after Jrm and Pete he told h1s mother drlnkmg h1s orange JUICE at the same tlme dys younger brother whom Andy dld not conslder one of the gang No replled Andy sharply you re too young to go Salllng wrth us boys You stay home w1th Mother But after constant teasmg from Phll and wlth h1s mothers permrsslon Phrl went along wlth the boys much to th protest of Andy who Sald Wlth drsgust now the day IS sporled before we even start As they walked down the road to the wharf the four boys were a plcture of per fect happlness Wlth t1ller under one arm and oars 1n the other Andy looked the real sallor wh1le Jim carrled the fish 1ng lmes Pete carrled the blg basket of lunch and Ph1l sk1pped along ahead wlth all the Then we go added never been there Do you th1nk we ought to'J asked Jlm calmly Dont you th1nk we better stay nearer home because Phll IS w1th us you know? llghtness of youth the b1g questlon of Where shall was furmshed by Pete who also Lets go to Blrch Island We ve As 1f we could forget' replxed Andy sharply But dxsregard hrm Hes w1th us so he ll have to go where we go It was really a perfect day for saxlmg and they made good tlme on thelr way to Brrch Island arrlvmg there ln about an hour Before we eat sa1d Jrm upon landlng lets have a sw1m and then fish awhlle We don t have to be back untll four They all thought th1s an excellent sue gestxon so lt was about two hours later when they dec1ded they would start for home Andy doesnt the wlnd blow harder than 1t d1d'P asked Pete anxlously Yeah replled Andy 1tS breezed up a l1ttle but thats because the tlde IS r1s1ng Why you scared? No answered Pete only 1ts get tlng qulte rough and and Oh keep st1ll we re almost home any way We always do get home safely dont we?
