64444 77m May, 1964--Ten long years since graduation day at Brookland High School. I guess everyone--or almost everyone is wondering what happened to those rough- neck seniors for that's what everyone called usj. I suppose everyone will be surprised to hear this, but we received a telegram yesterday from St. Louis saying that one of our old schoolmates wanted us to attend her wedding, none other than SHIRLEY STEPHENS and R, L, CRAFT, after so long a time. Well, we hurried and packed as fast as possible, As we stepped on the train, we noticed the conductor, JOHN LOVINS. Then we wandered on to the back to take a seat, and happened to sit down by ROY BYRANT, who had been home on a furlough to see his wife and children. He tells us that JUNIOR MINK and CLIFFORD WILLIAMS own a big manufacturing plant in Chicago. When we arrived in St. Louis, we started looking for a place to spend the night. We finally decided on the MARILYN AND LIZ. They tell us that GERALDINE PUTTNEY PEARSON and her husband and two boys are living in New York. They also tell us that DEWAYNE and MILLIE BUTLER are residing in Flint, Michigan. While we were killing time, we decided to take in a movie and see a theater show Why Marry a B8gg3.I'? When we went to purchase our tickets, there sat MARTHA GILLEY in the window selling tickets, We walked in, and J. A, BRUST escorted us to our seats. He seated us by BOBBY and BARBARA RUSHING and boys. Who do you think was on the screen? Yes, the talented FREDA SMITH the former FREDA SUE MCNATT. Later at the wedding, CLIF- FORD PRICE told us that he and BERNIECE McGEE are happily married. Guess who was best man and matron of honor--MARY and ERNEST GARRETT. After we arrived home, we received an invitation to visit the home of MRS, NINA CLAIRDAY, to have dinner with her. Two other guests arrived at the same time we did, it was SHIRLEY and DALE COUCH, they tell us they have six boys. About this time up drives a taxi and out steps BETTY OSBORN, she tells us she will stick to modeling and forget about men. After dinner the multi- millionaires BOBBY PATTERSON and JIMMY LINCOLN stopped by to pick up their wives, the former NORMA DOOLEY and JOYCE TROUTMAN, they journey on to the nursery to pick up the children, The owners of the place were those three little singing girls, MILDRED CLARK, NADINE LINGFELTER and MILDRED PHILLIPS, They tell us BONNIE ANDERSON is now teaching school at Brookland and is planning to marry FREDDIE ROBBINS.
