?ii 2 QQQEE.. Once again our Band was one of the top in the state, receiving a superior rating in Camden and at the State competition. Also, they competed in a concert Festival in Newberry and in Florida. Under the direction of Arch Tweed Drum Ma- jor, and Mr. Brown Director, the 95 pieces joined to play such songs as Latina and Night Flight to Madrid. At half time at basketball and foot- ball games they rocked the gym and boasted the spirits of Bearcat fans. The band shows off its style during halftime activities at a football game.
