Last year, the Key Club, a service and honor club for boys was formed, and this year the girls decided that they weren't going to be left out. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Cayce-West Cola., the two organizations are devoted to helping the school, community and fellow man, through their projects. The Brookland-Cayce Key- wanettes are a first-in South Carolina. A char- ter night banquet was held on Feb. 7, at Bus- bee Middle School. All of the forty five girls chosen to be members were honored. Mem- bers are chosen on the basis of leadership, qualities, school participation, and character. Throughout the year the Keywanettes and the Key Club hope to carry out a number of projects, that will serve others and help form a better world for the future.
