They knew what they wanted and where they could go they really put a lot into it. That statement is true. The ten girls on the team must have set their sights prettv high ... for they came away with the no. five spot in the state! In doing so, they competed with the best of them, and defeated most of the competition. During the season, the girls posted a 15- 6 record ... and as everyone knows - that ain't bad at all! This year's team had a lot of ta- lent. Miss Kessler cited first year players, Beth Amick, and Vicki Thomas as giving outstanding per- formances during the season. Two years ago volleyball was an intermural. lust look what the re- cord was this year! This is what we mean when we say We've come a long way! And this is only the beginning. Senior Vicki Thomas gives the ball just enough force to go over the Def. Court action reaches its peak as the ball continuously stays in motion. Betty Hoover slams the ball, to start off the game.
