14!Sports C Most people, when they see a football player, think about the honor, prestige, and popularity that goes along with wearing the jersey. But, what they don't realize is the sweat and time the boys have to put into the sport in order to play. Practice starts in .the middle of the summer. The boys are dressed for a blizzard in 95 degree heat It's hard and rough. Only the toughest and most eager to play, can stick with it. Sometimes the guys felt like forgetting the whole mess, and quitting. But winners never quit ... and at B.C., we have more than our share of winners. Sure it's a lot of glory .. . especially when the team wins, but there's another side, too. Seniors Gregg Shealy 1902 and Ricky Massey 142 await the snap, during an offensive play. After halting the Airport quarter back, seniors joey Bray 142, Scott Callison 1322 and Dennis Hopper offer to help him up. There's a big pile up as B.C., defen- sive players crush an opponent.
