There were so many little events these are what made them so special. Like the time I tried out for cheerlead- ing in front of the whole student body. I went to turn my cartwheel and ended up on my posterior end ! The crowds loved it! I could have died! I seem to have a knack for goofing up in front of crowds. In the 10th grade, while making a campaign speech, I froze for two minutes, as a photographer snapped a picture! Everyone thought it was really cute. Everyone except yours truly! Then there was the time I played Dracula and my teeth fell out! I'll always remember the games, the beach, the parties. Yes, these have been the three best years ... and if the next 3 years are any better, I shall be surprised. Karen Addy 'l22fjuniors

For many students at Brookland- Cayce, this, their lunior year was a realization of things to come. As each one seemed to see the need to work a little more, to try a little harder, he could see childhood dreams coming closer. For a jun- ior at Brookland-Cayce, time was running out for some important decisions. One had to settle down and decide just which way he or she wanted to go. Playing around with grades and Cutting up in class began to give way to a more serious approach, as juniors realized that a little more effort was in order to make dreams become reality. 71th Grade Class Officers, Larry Aull, Secretary, William Olawsky, Council Representative, Debra Spurlock, President, Kim Franke, Vice President, Gary Sharp, Trea- SUFGF li' 'X ? ,- Q.
