The biggest problem the sophomores had was where on earth they would obtain afloat bed. Finally, they dug up a hay wagon from a farmer in Swansea. Then the real work begang transforming a hay wagon into a float is quite an ac- complishment. But the sophomores did a great job of it. As the float progressed the wind began to blow. The twelve foot cardboard football r ayer waved ominously but held up throughout the whole parade. Be- cause spirit was at its height, the Sophomores won second place.
