NATIONAL JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS The purpose of the N.J.R.O.T.C. is to develop informed citizens, strengthen character, promote an understanding of military responsibility of each citizen in a democratic society, develop an appreciation of the Navy and the role of sea power in national defense, and motivate students for careers in the United States Navy. They present colors at football games and participate in parades.
