During the year, the girls strive to earn stars and letters by obtaining a set number of points.

FUTURE HOMEMA KERS UF AMERICA Many girls join the Future Homemakers of America to prepare themselves for future situ- ations of family living. The FHA promotes this growing appreciation for the joys and satisfac- tion of homemaking, and encourages girls in home economics careers. The club furnishes each room with needle and thread to prevent interruptions. FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA The members of the Future Business Leaders of America learn about business from their business courses. They are able to use these skills in the business world they are preparing for. This year the club published a school directory and visited the Girl's Industrial School for their service project. The students also de- velop an interest in culture and politics of other nations. During the year, there are guest speakers at the meetings to tell the stu- dents about their country.
