, . if ' K . 5 . iq- Mlss Anne Clements Dean of Women at Columbia College: Mrs. Judy Summers Toole, former Miss Cayce-West Columbia Mr Ken Brown Trust Officer Citizen and Southern National Bank. Three judges were present to select the 1971 MISS BEARCAT. The members of the feature section were host to the tea which was at- tended by the eight class beauties, yearbook staff and advisors, and Mr. Parrish. After the judging was completed the beauties relaxed and compared their formal pictures which they viewed for the first time. Each of the eight class beauties were judged on the basis of beauty, personality, poise, posture, voice, and grooming. The judges got acquainted with each girl and scored them according to their attractiveness and natural look. They chose the girl that would best represent our school. All of the best of Brookland-Cayce is wrapped up in the 1971 Miss Bearcat.
