Award and Scholarship Recipients Lydia Schultz Knappen Award Laurence Knappen ot Arlington, Virginia, this year inaugurated the Lydia Schultz Knappen Award in memory ot his wife. Both are graduates ot BHS. Mr. Knappen donated 56.000, the income ot which is given to two students in each ot the tields ot mathematics and English, who are rated as top students. These awards are given tor excellence in these fields only. This will be a continuing award. This year Tom Fox and Jan Roberts rated tirst and second in mathematics and Sue Horn and David Bugg rated tirst and second in English. Mr. Knappen also gave 55,000 tor equipment in the new high school building.
