Mr Glerde Mary MacDoug l Emmett Foste Judge C ay Marcus Wlese G orge Madsen John Am don chr Joe Farnham Mr Klensasser Safety Counc1l One of the problems the student council had to dlscuss thus year was how to promote highway safety A motlon passed un student council brought about the appointment of a Safety Council by pres :dent Bob Fnshback With John Amldon as chair man and Mr Glerde and Mr Klemsasser as ad vlsers the Safety Council met weekly to discuss current dnvlng problems. They put up colorful displays and posters which dealt with many dlf ferent phases of drlvlng Assemblies sponsored by the Councll Included two excellent movles and an address by Judge Walter Conway from the mumclpal court In Sioux Fa s The students who drove to school left their keys In the office during the day for safekeepmg they also received Courtesy IS Contagious stickers for their car wmdows.
