Our Kinetic Club is just as active now in i950 as it was in i946 when it was first organized. Each mem- ber is required to have either a one-year or a two-year project. Some of the projects this year were photographic work and the structure and operation of model airplanes. This year our young Einsteins journeyed to Sioux Falls tor the Junior Academy of Science which meets concurrently with the Senior Academy of Science. lt was at this meeting that Allen Cheever received recognition for his formaldehyde project. Dick Chapman acted as state president, besides being president of our local organization. Eugene Olson Photography ' ' V'd M W metre CLE 'a mais., M Allen Cheever Formaldehyde Project

You find them doing anything from shelving books to making the school scrapbook. Each member must work two hours a week in the library as assistant. At the regular meetings they have repaired books and magazines, buying necessary supplies from their fines. A scrapbook of authors and books was started this year, using pictures from the paper covers of books. During Bookweek in October the members held story hours tor the lower grades, and as a climax gave a tea for the faculty. Bock Row: M. Hammond, M. Meyer, B. Prother, D. Quoil, J. Knutson, E.
