Even though I'm the friend of all those who attend BHS, this year I am especially interested in the Class of '45, who created me. You will notice I have avoided the more morbid side of school lite and devoted myself to the lighter. Years from now when your hair is gone or gray, you can show this to your grandchildren and tell them of the many happy days you spent at Brookings High CONTENTS ADMINISTRATION ACTIVITIES I7 40 ATHLETICS 4I 47 CLASSES E ,.sss.s,ss,,,sss,s.s.,.,s.,,.... . ,..s.., s.,s,,,.,,.,.,.ss 6 -I6 WE DEDICATE TO . . . the members of the class of '45 who are serving our nation in its armed forces. 45-+ve!! Harry played right halfback and Richard played tackle, both were seniors and will be lost to next year's team. The Bobcats were very successful in their football season, as they were defeated only twice in their eight game schedule, both of these were by a close margin. ln the E. S. D. C. they tied with Hur- on for third place with four wins and two defeats. The outlook for a football squad in 1945 is very bright for Coach Ginn, as he has twelve lettermen returning. John DeWitt, guard an this year's team, was elected captain for '45 at the close of the season. Egg! , 3 ,,,,, ., ,kwly hi -Wvvf-fyrl rf . 1 . I y I . bl L .J ' gl., X an 3 ,J X... , - ii?
