Ellie Bobcat . , , Band The Brookings High School Band has shown extraordinary progress during the past year. Although it is not the largest band we have ever had, it is without a doubt the best. Under the splendid direction of Professor Franklin, the band gave a remark- able concert on December 15, playing several difficult numbers and showing much improvement over a similar performance given last year, The band has played at the football and basketball games, and marched in uniform Bobcat Day. In the District Music Contest the band, as well as the orchestra, placed Superior.
