l SHOWBOAT LEGACY We, the Star Performers, in the presence of the Pilots of this Showboat, of sound mind and body, do bequeath to the Upper Crewmen the following: A very able faculty, a desire to do all to aid the betterment of the school, an apprecia- tion for all that has been done to develop our abilities, and a happiness that comes from be- ing a Senior at Brookhaven High School. We also leave to you an undying love for study, a unique course in salesmanship, an abil- ity to guide the underclassmen, and an unlim- ited number of Senior privileges. . Ben Johnson, Mary Ann Brennan, and Sue Hamilton wish to leave their Southern drawl to Patty Bourk and Ernestine Walker. Sherman Newton leaves his way with women to Robert Lewis and Robert Hugh Wal- lace. ' Jean Strother leaves her talkativeness to Lucille Richardson, Margie May, and Ruth Porter. Bobby Bee leaves his love of red to Sylvia Noble and Bud Turnbow. Jean Clair Swinney leaves her comforting ways to Nellie Brock.
