Kasmere and Mrs. Dorothy Drummond. Mrs. Kasmere will be remembered for twenty-five years of service in the public school system. Her government classes will always bring back fond memories. Mrs. Drummond, who has only been with us for 215 years, will also leave a great impression on our minds. Her guidance of the Junior class, her book reviews and help on the HI Speak for Democracy contest are just a few of the ways she has helped us as sen- iors of Brookfield High School. These two fine educators are true friends to all. The Class of 1957 will al- ways remember them. Busy as he may be. he still has time for each and every one of us. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF '57 Graduation from high school marks a most significant event in your life. In the first place it identifies you as one of a select group because only slightly more than half the youth of your age attain this enviable goal. Perhaps the greatest outcome of this achievement will be the increased opportuni- ty you will have for self direction and self determination. With this opportunity will come an in- creased personal responsibility for your ideas and your actions. I sincerely hope that your experiences and lessons in Brookfield High School, the guidance of sincere teach- ers and the counsel of devoted parents will fortify you against errors of judgment. against conduct repugnant, alien to the spirit cf America or the will of God. County Superintendent FREDERICK B. LOUYS tBachelor of Science in Education-Ohio State Univer- sity. Master of Arts-Ohio State Universityj. Duke University and Oxford England. The guidance and planning given to our school by Mr. Louys, our County Supt., is greatly appreciated and has contributed much in making our school one of which we can be justly proud. CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS I want to take this opportunity to com- mend the Seniors of Brookfield on the com- pletion of a successful school year. We are pround of your attainments and your contri- butions. Yes, they had many rehearsals at 6:30, and out of those rehearsals came a superb performance. Not only one, but four, and to top all records at Brookfield, three in one day. This play, 'KNO Boys Allow- ed , was not only a success with rehearsals, but had to overcome many obstacles in order to pull through. Job difficulties, unusual make-up of characters, a late change in cast because of illness, and many more. But the Juniors put on a superior performance. It was the third undefeated season in Brookfield High School history. The Warriors going through a 9 game schedule knocked the teams off one at a time. The YVarriors showed good sportsmanship with every team they played. Although 11 seniors graduate this year, there will be a lot of experienced boys back, and we will be looking for another successful season. Steve Gulla, voted captain for the year, was also chosen the MOST VALUABLE PLAY- ER of this year's team. Preceding years, the award went to Roosevelt Matthews, 1953, Harold Green, 1954, and Burdell Hettrick, 1955. Congratulations, boys! Glnarhrn The coaching staff, which led our fine team to its second undefeated sea- son in two years, has worked very hard on and off the gridiron. This year's undefeated season marks the third time in Brookfield High's history and the second in succession. Left to right: R. Robison, G. Stennett, T. Mason, R. Raidel. Page 64 .Uuninr liigh ilinnthall The Little Warriors brought to a close their football season by winning 2 out of 6 games. Al- though they had excellent coaching. their lack of experience proved detrimental to their winnings. The teams capable coach is Mr. Ray Robison.
